Digital publishing heritage
From Java phones
to modern editions.
Handybibliothek was an early QiOO project started in 2003 for reading books on mobile phones. It produced installable mobile editions when small Java handsets were the most widely available pocket computers.
In 2008, QiOO technology also powered Project Gutenberg Mobile. The historical QiOO Mobile format remains documented by Project Gutenberg for older catalogue items today.
